“Countdown to Christmas” Tagged New Revenue and New Customers in Ohio

After success with PIR’s Virtual House Turnkey campaign, the Bellefontaine Examiner wanted a promotion that would reward readers and capture retail advertising dollars during the hectic holiday shopping season.

The Answer? The Countdown to Christmas – another engaging, multi-sponsor turnkey program from PIR.

This festive holiday campaign collected revenue for the newspaper, marketing data and qualified leads for 14 sponsors, and drove holiday shopping traffic straight to those businesses.

Through print, online and email promotion, the Examiner steered their audience to the customized Countdown to Christmas web page. Readers answered a few easy questions for the chance to win great prizes from each sponsor. Upon entry, they also received immediate bounce-back email coupon offers from the sponsors for use during holiday shopping.
